In order to encourage the self-esteem and health of school children, Undies for Everyone distributes new underwear and socks to disadvantaged school children. Their mission is fulfilled by partnering with community and private groups to collect merchandise and donations for purchasing underwear and socks.

Girls on the Run of Greater Houston ® is a life-changing, non-profit prevention program for girls in the 3rd through 8th grade. Our mission is “to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.” Girls on the Run combines training for a 5K running event with healthy living education. Our programs instill self-esteem and strong values through health education, life skills development, mentoring relationships, and physical training – all of which are accomplished through an active collaboration with girls and their parents, schools, volunteers, and the community.
Since opening its doors in 1981, Ronald McDonald House has offered a home away from home to the families of children undergoing treatment for cancer and other serious illnesses at Texas Medical Center institutions. RMH answers the special need of these special families by offering loving, home like environments where they can find support and share experiences with others who are also undergoing the trauma of childhood illness.
